Onigiri is a Japanese rice ball made from white rice. We usually put filling in the rice ball and shape the rice into a ball, triangle, and cylinder.

Onigiri is a popular picnic food in Japan. We put onigiri in a bento box (lunch box), and eat it at a park.

Rice balls are a good food for breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks and any occasion.

``What is your favorite onigiri ingredient?'', most people answered ``Mentaiko/Cod roe (23.9%),'' followed by ``Salmon (23.4%)'' and

``Tuna mayo (21.6%).

Although it was a close second, "Mentaiko/Cod roe" came in first place.
